§ Mr. BennI assume that my hon. Friend is referring to the use of a computer by the Post Office Engineering Department in connection with the design of electronic exchanges. The purpose of such scientific usage of computers is to enable the maximum use to be made of the skills of professional staff and to achieve material and equipment savings by more accurate design work.
