§ 65 and 66. Mr. Hefferasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs (1) when the proposed United Nations study on oil sanctions against the illegal regime in Southern Rhodesia is likely to be completed; and if he will make a statement;
(2) what steps the Government intend to take to enforce oil sanctions against the illegal Smith regime of Southern Rhodesia.
§ Mr. George ThomsonThe idea of a United Nations study on oil sanctions was not accepted and does not figure in the Resolution. As for our own studies and consultations on this difficult and complex subject, I have nothing to add to what my right hon. Friend the Prime Minister has already told the House.
