§ Mr. Hoosonasked the Secretary of State for Wales what progress has been achieved in consultations with the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food and with the Severn River Board with a view to implementing a scheme for the alleviation of floods in the upper Severn valley.
§ Mr. James GriffithsA draft scheme has been prepared by the Severn River Authority designed to provide protection against a flood such as that of a year ago and this is being discussed by the Authority with representatives of the274W Newtown Urban District Council on Monday 13th December.
