HC Deb 02 December 1965 vol 721 c228W
45. Sir A. Meyer

asked the President of the Board of Trade whether he will press the Polish Government to increase the quota for the purchase of British print-machinery.

Mr. Mason

The Anglo-Polish Trade Arrangement does not include a specific quota for exports of British printing machinery, but this machinery is one of a number of items for which the Polish authorities have undertaken in the Trade Arrangement, to provide import facilities.

The British delegation which is at present in Warsaw to discuss trade arrangements for 1966 will press the Poles to increase their purchases of British goods in general, including printing machinery.
