§ Mr. Bessellasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will seek to amend Section 260 of the Customs and Excise Act 1952 to remove the tariff on importing bone dicalcium phosphate, as this is used for agricultural purposes in the preparation of essential fertilisation.
§ Mr. MacDermotAmending Section 260 would not be the appropriate way, but I cannot in any event hold out any hope of removing this tariff.
