§ Mr. K. RobinsonI am aware of the diversity of purchasing practice, although standing orders adopted generally by hospital authorities provide a common basis for contract procedure, including purchase by competitive tender whenever possible.
A Departmental committee is now reviewing the present organisation for the purchase and distribution of goods and equipment for the hospital service.
