§ 92. Mr. Ian Lloydasked the Minister of Transport what steps he proposes to take to ensure that vehicles with a top speed exceeding 70 miles per hour can be safely and effectively tested on British roads.
§ Mr. Tom FraserThe 70 m.p.h. speed limit, to be imposed from Christmas to Easter, will be experimental. During this period exception will be made, as usual, only for fire brigades, ambulances and police vehicles.
