§ Mr. Youngerasked the Minister of Aviation whether, in the placing of subcontracts for construction of United States aircraft purchased by Her Majesty's Government, he will ensure that all firms in the aviation industry, which are capable of undertaking the work, will be allowed to tender, regardless of their size.
§ Mr. StonehouseI would refer the hon. Member to the answer my right hon. Friend gave him on 23rd June in reply to a similar Question. The size of a firm is not in itself a decisive factor 441W and we must be satisfied that a firm has the capacity to undertake the particular work for which it is being considered.
