§ Mr. Eldon Griffithsasked the President of the Board of Trade whether, in view of the disappointment and loss suffered by members of the public whose holidays have been cancelled without compensation or return of their prepaid expenses, he will now introduce legislation requiring travel agencies to be registered with some appropriate body such as the Association of British Travel Agents, to be adequately insured, and to be subject to such other regulations for the protection of the public as recent experience has shown to be necessary.
