§ Mr. Youngerasked the Postmaster-General, whether he is aware of the poor television reception in Ayr; and what plans exist for improving it.
§ Mr. BennImprovements in the quality of television reception in particular localities are primarily for the broadcasting authorities. The B.B.C. tell me they are at present seeking a site for a relay station to serve Ayr; and the I.T.A. that they will consider the claims of this area along with those of other places when planning future improvements to the coverage of their services.
