asked the Secretary of State for Defence (1) if he will give the total annual cost, including weapons, of the base on the island of Gan for each of the last five years;

(2) if he will give the total annual cost, including weapons, of the base on the island of Gan for each of the last five years.

The station is used by the R.A.F. as a staging post and the cost of weapons attributable to Gan is therefore nil.
