HC Deb 05 August 1965 vol 717 c421W
Mr. Younger

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will give details of the number and location of projects within the private sector likely to be affected by the ceiling of £100,000 announced in the recent economic measures.

Mr. C. Pannell

I have been asked to reply.

It is estimated that in Scotland there are about fifty projects annually in categories likely to be affected by the control of private construction. It is not possible to say what proportion of these is likely to be in Development Districts, and consequently exempt from control.
