§ Mr. John MackieThe arrangements in force for Scottish bulls have been made within the framework of the Improvement of Live Stock (Licensing of Bulls) Act, 1931, as amended, which applies both to England and Wales and to Scotland. My right hon. Friend and my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Scotland have no responsibility for the licensing of bulls outside Great Britain, and any bulls Imported from the Irish Republic are subject to the requirements of our legislation.
