§ Mr. Roy JenkinsV/STOL studies form part of my Department's aeronautical research programme. Decisions on major projects will depend largely upon the outcome of the current Defence review. We are, however, currently discussing with the Americans the possibility of collaboration in the development of an advanced lift engine.
