§ Mr. Gregor Mackenzieasked the Minister of Labour what action his Department proposes to take on the finding of his inspector that during the last year industrial accidents in Scotland increased by 8,000; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. GunterThe increase in industrial accidents in Scotland is part of a general increase throughout Great Britain which is causing me serious concern. I intend to do all in my power to reverse this trend. The lines on which we are taking action were indicated by my hon. Friend the Joint Parliamentary Secretary in the Adjournment debate on 25th February.
