§ 67. Mr. David Priceasked the Secretary of State for Defence if he will make a statement on his plans for the replacement of the Gnat trainer with the Anglo-French Jaguar fighter trainer.
§ Mr. HealeyAs the House is aware, we plan to replace our Gnat and Hunter training aircraft with the Anglo-French strike/trainer starting in about 1973–74. A joint requirement for this aircraft has been agreed between the British and French Staffs and has been issued to firms of both countries for study.
