§ Mr. Frederick LeeFor electricity 4½ million tons, of which about 3 million 277W tons are expected to be used and the rest added to stocks: for gas some 300,000 tons. The amount for public authorities is more difficult to assess as the total depends on the response of local authorities to the Government initiative, but it may be in the region of ¼ million tons.
