§ Mr. K. RobinsonNo general guidance has been given to regional hospital boards who are responsible for local decisions in accordance with the needs of their areas. District general hospitals are intended to provide diagnostic, reference and other supporting facilities for general practice and in appropriate circumstances these may include access to beds.
