§ Mr. CousinsProvision is made in Estimates for a total of 5,685 posts in the Ministry of Technology headquarters and its stations. The number of staff employed in headquarters on 1st July, 1965, was 540. The staffs taken over with their work from other Departments at various dates totalled 5,099. It is not possible to compare this figure with a corresponding current figure because the organisation and the nature of the work has been changed.
