§ Mr. Molloy
asked the Minister of Labour what proportion of boys and girls, respectively, entered apprenticeships during the first six months of 1965; and what were the corresponding figures for 1964.

§ Mr. Gunter
The figures for 1965 show a very encouraging increase in the proportion of boys gaining apprenticeships on first entering employment.
The figures are:
