§ Mr. Tom FraserA great deal of research into the reduction of motor noise is being undertaken by the Motor Industries Research Association, by various motor manufacturers and by certain specialist companies. This research has no doubt been stimulated by the prospect of new regulations which I shall be making to control vehicle noise and also92W by the work into the control of noise that is going on under the auspices of the Economic Commission for Europe and the European Council of Ministers of Transport.
