§ Sir W. Bromley-Davenportasked the Secretary of State for Wales if he will give the total estimated new commitments in 1965–66 in respect of new construction and major improvements for trunk roads and for classified roads and loans to highway authorities, respectively, in Wales.
§ Mr. Gowerasked the Secretary of State for Wales if he will state approximately the additional commitments for 1965–66 on construction in Wales of new roads, and on major trunk road improvements and classified roads; and if he will state what loans will be made to highway authorities in the Principality.
§ Mr. FinchIt is hoped to commit further schemes of new construction and major improvements in Wales in 1965–66 to a total value of approximately £6.49 million on trunk roads and a total grant value of approximately £1.63 million on classified roads. Loans will be made to highway authorities in Wales on the same basis as in England but I cannot at this stage say what will be their total in 1965–66.
