§ Mr. Martenasked the Minister of Aviation what was the noise level of the aeroplane taking off on 13th April in order to carry the Prime Minister to the United States of America; at what time it took off; and whether it conformed to the limitations.
§ Mr. Roy JenkinsThe aircraft took off at 2318 hours local time (2218 G.M.T.). Its noise at the appropriate monitoring point was 98 PNdB which was well within the limits of 110 PNdB (day time) and of 102 PNdB (night time) currently in force at Heathrow.
