Mr. Hall-Davisasked the Minister of Transport how many accidents involving personal injury occurred at Skew Bridge on the A.6 north of Cam-forth, in the period 1st April, 1963, to 10th April, 1965; how many deaths and how many cases of serious injury resulted therefrom; and what action he proposes to take in view of the increasing traffic at this point.
§ Mr. Tom FraserTen, resulting in one death and four cases of serious injury. To improve conditions at this awkward bridge I shall shortly be introducing arrangements for diverting south-bound traffic during peak periods. Long-term relief will be provided by the next extension of M.6 northwards.
