HC Deb 26 April 1965 vol 711 c24W
Sir M. Stoddart-Scott

asked the Postmaster-General who designed the Centenary International Telecommunication Union stamps; by whom they are printed; in how many colours; and if he will put copies of these stamps and the Winston Churchill stamps in the Library, along with copies of special envelopes that are being printed for these stamps.

Mr. Joseph Slater

The stamps were designed by Mr. Andrew Restall and are being printed by Harrison & Sons Ltd. in five colours.

Arrangements are being made for specimens of the stamps to be placed in the Library, together with specimens of the stamps and the special first-day envelopes that we shall be issuing to commemorate the life of Sir Winston Churchill. We are not producing special envelopes for the first day of issue of the International Telecommunication Union stamps.
