§ Mrs. HartMinisterial responsibility for the national museums, galleries and library in Scotland will now be wholly exercised by my right hon. Friend. He is associated with my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Education and Science in relation to the Arts Council of Great Britain and will continue to take a special interest in the work of its Scottish Committee. My right hon. Friend will be writing to local authorities urging them to follow up locally the Government's initiative on the Arts. Applications for assistance for arts projects should continue to be made to the Scottish Committee of the Arts Council.
