§ 53. Mr. Kelleyasked the Minister of Transport if he will now publish minimum standards of efficiency for all recut or remoulded tyres sold to the public for use on motor vehicles.
§ Mr. Tom FraserI have circulated to interested organisations proposals to amend the Motor Vehicles (Construction and Use) Regulations in order to control the use of recut tyres. I have no evidence to suggest that remoulded tyres are in general unreliable.
