asked the Lord President of the Council if he is aware that the revised arrangements for Question Time reduce considerably the time allocated for the answering of Questions to the Secretary of State for Scotland; and what steps he proposes to take to rectify this position.

The new experimental arrangement ensures that the Secretary of State for Scotland is top for Questions every six weeks instead of seven.
