HC Deb 14 April 1965 vol 710 c203W
49. Mr. Wall

asked the Minister of Transport if he will make a statement about his meeting with the deputation advocating the building of a Humber bridge.

Mr. Tom Fraser

The representatives of the Humber Bridge Board urged upon me the importance of the bridge and suggested a new road network for the region incorporating the bridge. I will consider the Board's ideas along with the views of the County Councils of Lindsey and the East and West Ridings of Yorkshire, the City Council of Hull and the Yorkshire and. Humberside Regional Economic Planning Council, which are also being consulted.
