§ Mr. BennThe Committee has recently represented to me its views on the amount of cinematograph film shown on television. In reply, I recalled that the broadcasting authorities are answerable for the content of their programmes; and that question was therefore a matter for them. I have however conveyed the substance of the Committee's representations to the B.B.C. and the I.T.A.
