Dr. Bennettasked the President of the Board of Trade if he is aware that offlicence traders in the Fareham area arc being refused Distillers Company products at prices below the maintained prices; and when he will bring into force Sections 1 to 4 of the Resale Prices Act, 1964, in order to prevent this practice.
§ Mr. DarlingNo such complaints from the Fareham area have been brought to my attention, but I take note of the information in the Question. Sections 1 to 4 of the Resale Prices Act will come into operation on 30th April, under a Board of Trade order made on 15th February (the Resale Prices Act Commencement Order 1965).
