asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what will be the cost to the agricultural industry of increasing the annual rate of duty on farmers' goods vehicles.

For the whole of Great Britain additional revenue in a full year from vehicles charged under the farmers' goods vehicles schedule is estimated at about half a million pounds.
