asked the Minister of Aviation what are the credit terms for the option on the purchase of the F111A.

Mr. Roy Jenkins

If the option is exercised dollar payments during the next three years would be very small. The balance would be repaid at as constant a rate as possible over a period extending until about 1978. The interest rate would be 4¾ per cent.

Mr. Marten

asked the Minister of Aviation what is the option price for the F111A.

Mr. Roy Jenkins

It is not the practice to disclose information which will reveal contract prices.
