§ Mr. CrossmanMy decision to allow the appeal to which my right hon. Friend's Question refers, and which was concerned solely with density, followed the recommendations of the Inspector after a public local inquiry. My decision allowed development at an average of five houses per acre, but at less than four houses per acre where it adjoins existing houses. I do not think this is inconsistent with the county council's planning concept.
