§ Miss HerbisonI regret that pressure of other statistical work, and particularly the work resulting from the special inquiry into the incidence of incapacity in different areas and occupations in 1961–62, has caused delay in the final preparation of this Digest. Meanwhile requests for figures and information on particular subjects from research workers (for distribution to whom the Digest is prepared) have been met.
