HC Deb 02 April 1965 vol 709 c306W
Mr. Onslow

asked the Secretary of State for Wales what increase or decrease in staff there has been in the Department under his control since 16th October, 1964; and what increase or decrease he anticipates in the period up to 15th October, 1965.

Mr. James Griffiths

The staff of the new Welsh Office has been drawn from a number of Departments and a figure for 16th October, 1964, cannot be given. There will be 366 in post on 1st April and this number is expected to increase by 53 by 15th October, 1965.
