§ Mr. Onslowasked the President of the Board of Trade what increase or decrease in staff there has been in the Department under his control since 16th October, 1964; and what increase or decrease he anticipates in the period up to 15th October, 1965.
§ Mr. JaySince 16th October, 1964, the staffs of the Board of Trade and of the Export Credits Guarantee Department have increased by 1,188 and 36 respectively. By 15th October, 1965, further increases of 406 in the Board of Trade and of 22 in the Export Credits Guarantee Department are expected.
