The Earl of Dalkeithasked the Secretary of State for Scotland when he expects the collection of the information required for the publication of the Border Development Plan to be completed; and whether he will list in the OFFICIAL REPORT the names of all the individuals and organisations from whom evidence has been sought.
§ Mr. RossThe collection of information for the Borders Study is now substantially completed. Following is a list of local authorities and other bodies who have been consulted during the Study: in addition, various Government Departments and the Northern Economic Plan-300W ning Board have also been consulter, together with numerous individuals, many of whom belong to the bodies listed below. A few more discussions with individuals and bodies, who can be of assistance on particular points of detail, are still to be arranged.
