Mr. McMasterasked the Secretary of State for Defence whether he will review the long-term requirements of the Armed Forces for strategic transport aircraft, with a view to placing a development order for an advanced turbo-prop or jet aircraft to meet the need for greater mobility in the future.
§ Mr. HealeyThe Belfasts and VC lOs are not yet in service. Together with my right hon. Friend the Minister of Aviation, I shall be studying possible future needs but it is too soon to formulate detailed requirements.
