§ 56. Mr. William Hamiltonasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will consider the establishment of a Civil Service Staff College.
§ Mr. MacDermotI think that it will be best to follow the recommendation of a working party appointed by the Joint Committee on Training of the Civil Service National Whitley Council that the possibility of establishing a central institution for the higher training of civil servants and others should be further considered when more experience has been gained of the work of the Centre for Administrative Studies.
