§ Mr. HealeyGross total current overseas military expenditure borne on the Defence Budget is estimated at £320 million. This is offset by estimated receipts of £50 million. The following is a list of the countries in which expenditure is incurred
- Republic of Ireland.
- Gibraltar, Malta, Libya, Cyprus.
- East Africa (Kenya, Tanganyika, Uganda).
- Aden and the South Arabian Federation.
- Bahrain, Mauritius, Gan (Maldives).
- Malaysia, Brunei, Hong Kong.
- United States, Canada, France, Netherlands.
- West Germany, Norway, Portugal, Italy.
- Belgium, Greece, Iran, Turkey, South Africa.
- Thailand, Australia, Japan.
- West Indies (including British Guiana and British Honduras), India, Pakistan, Nepal.
