§ Mr. Woodhouseasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what progress has been made in his discussions with the University Grants Committee and the Minister of Housing and Local 98W Government upon the possibility of special grants being made to Oxford and Cambridge colleges through the University Grants Committee in lieu of rates.
§ Mr. M. StewartThe question of the colleges' rates is, at any rate in the first place, a matter for my right hon. Friend the Minister of Housing and Local Government and I understand he is at present considering it.
