§ The Prime MinisterMy hon. and learned Friend the Financial Secretary to the Treasury gave the information asked for in the last part of this Question in reply to the hon. Member for Dorset, North (Sir Richard Glyn) on 10th November. The annual cost of the expenses of the new Departments is estimated at just under £4 million, but this will be in a large measure offset by the saving on the Department of Technical Co-operation and by a reduction in the business of other Departments.
