§ 80. Sir J. Edenasked the Minister of Aviation if he will make a statement about Her Majesty's Government's plans for the future of supersonic air transport in Great Britain.
Mr. JenkinsAs I told the House on 5th November, we have asked the French Government to join in an urgent review of the Concord project. Discussions are proceeding and I am not yet in a position to make a statement about the future of the project or the consequences of any hypothetical change in the present programme. In the course of the review I shall hold consultations with those concerned.
