§ 3. Mr. Graham Pageasked the Minister of Transport if he will hold a public inquiry under Section 248 of the Road Traffic Act, 1960, into the crashing of a lorry into a shop in Linacre Road, Litherland, Liverpool 21, killing four persons and injuring six persons, on the 17th October, 1964.
§ Mr. T. FraserI wish to express my sympathy with the innocent victims of this accident and with the relatives of those who lost their lives in it. I have received a report of the circumstances of the accident and I understand that an inquest is due to be held shortly. In the light of the report and the result of the inquest I shall decide whether any further action on my part is necessary.
