§ Mr. Palmerasked the Secretary of State for Commonwealth Relations what arrangements are being made for the issue of funds to the Malta Government in accordance with the provisions of the Agreement on Financial Assistance, Command Paper No. 2423, whereby an amount of up to £6.8 million is to be made available in the current financial year.
§ Mr. BottomleyApproval will be sought by way of Supplementary Estimates to be presented in due course. In the meantime advances to meet the Malta Government's urgent cash requirements in this connection will be made from the Civil Contingencies Fund.
