Mr. Owen

asked the Prime Minister if he will make a statement on the United Kingdom Parliament delegation to the Consultative Assembly of the Council of Europe.

The Prime Minister

Yes. A number of changes in the delegation have become necessary; it now comprises:

Representatives from the Government Benches:

  • The Earl of Listowel.
  • Lord Kennet.

The hon. Members for—

  • Carmarthen (Lady Megan Lloyd George).
  • Dunbartonshire, West (Mr. T. Steele).
  • Glasgow, Maryhill (Mr. W. Hannan).
  • Lewisham, South (Mr. Carol Johnson).
  • Hammersmith, North (Mr. Tomney).

Representatives from the Conservative Party:

  • Lord Crathorne (who will continue to be Leader).
  • Lord Stonehaven.
  • Lord Alport.
