§ Mr. Parkinasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government and Minister for Welsh Affairs whether, in view of the increasing numbers of cases of intimidation and trickery to induce controlled tenants to vacate their dwellings, he will ask the Milner Holland Committee to make recommendations on this aspect of their work in time for legislation this Session.
§ Mr. CorfieldNo. The Committee is a fact-finding body and has not been asked to make recommendations. It knows that my right hon. Friend is anxious to have its report as soon as possible, but it has a heavy task and I do not think it would be right to hurry it.
