§ Mr. WoodhouseBetween 1st April, 1963, and 31st March, 1964, there were 376 cases of robbery and assault with intent to rob in which the thieves were armed with firearms (or supposed firearms), or with other offensive weapons or instruments. The total amount stolen was £448,152, of which £29,669 has been recovered.
