§ 35. Mr. Mayhewasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government and Minister for Welsh Affairs what action has been taken by the Alkali Inspectorate to stop the nuisance from smoke, fumes and smell emitted by factories at Harrow Manorway, Abbey Wood, S.E.2.
§ Mr. CorfieldOver the last four years the Inspectorate have secured a considerable reduction in emissions from those processes at the factories that are registrable under the Alkali Act. Further improvements are due to be made in August.
